1989 300 TE.Rear end kicks out on acceleration.

When driving at any speed if i accelerate hard the rear end of the car kicks out to the right then comes back again when decellerating.I have also noticed the back of the car tends wander slightly.I suspect it could be a rear bush fault but have not yet checked them.Any advice would be greatly appreiciated.Many thanks.

I assume you mean all 4 subframe bushes.Is this a straight forward job to do?

The best way is to raise the car and by using an iron bar see how much play in them all and see if they are deformed at all

subframe bushes usually give a thump on acc/decel, look very closely at the thrust arm bushes, normally the forward facing ones.
