Hello All
I recently had cause to withdrawl and diconnect my radio to get at a faulty hazard warning switch which was proving impossible to pull forward in-situ.
However, after re-assemble and re-connection of the battery when I came to switch the radio ON the screen displayed the word CAR. This flashed 5/6 times before becoming stable and was then accompanied by a sequencial display next to CAR of 0, I, and four small marks I couldn't understand.
With nothing to lose I pressed one of the preselect channel buttons and the radio sprang into life. I took the car out for a road test, radio switched ON, and was immediately aware ofa whinning interference which followed the engine rev speed.
My question, how can I cure this. There is no User Manual for the radio.
