1991 500sl instrument cluster

since yesterday whenever i use the indicators, the strip of lights on the bottom edge (all of them)flash once.. the fuel gauge and water temp gauge reset themselves and the seat belt light flashes three times....
is there somewhere i should start to look?

There is a 470uF capacitor on the instrument cluster main board that needs replacing.

Did it on mine a couple of weeks ago, not had it happen since

I didn't think to take pictures at the time, but if you can desolder/solder and have some good small screwdrivers and plenty of patience then it's not too bad a job.
