1991 500sl light replacement

i have looked at other threads but did not know if it applied to the 500sl, do i need a 'puller' to remove the instrument cluster to replace a warning bulb?

you might be able to push it out from behind, remove the panel below the dash and see if you can get access that way.

As JIB you can push them out as there is plenty of room, and not like a 210


once it starts its easy and try from both sides, its easier when its warm

There is a tool to pull these out, however, most people don't use it due to it being very easy to break to cover of the cluster -expensive!! As above, remove the carpeted undertray & push it out.
