My son-in-law was changing the disc pads on the rear of his 190 and when he pulled the mounting bolts out fluid was leaking from the holes, after further investigation I found he had pulled the caliper body bolts out and lost some fluid.I :?: am now trying to bleed the calipers and it is a ton of air in the system. Is it possible to fill the caliper with fluid to displace some of the air and then try to bleed it?

you could remove the bleed nipple and inject fluid in that way but in most cases its keep on pumping it out or buy and automatic bleeder
