1993 190e overheats

I have a 1993 190e 2.6 engine that i purchased in New York last sept. Everything was good until about a month ago and it started empting the cooling system out through the recovery tank behind the fender well. I knew a new head had been put on due to the head gasket being blown. I've put 3 new thermostats in it - new water pump - boiled and punched the radiator out - and it still does it. There is no evidance of oil getting into the coolant system or vise versa - any ideas i'm missing - its a great little car if i can get this straightened out.

Does the cooling system pressurise when you rev the engine? Easy to test with a cooling system pressure meter

I'm not sure - i took it to a bmw mercedes shop - he also changed the thermostat and put another insert in the water pump - i'll tell him to put a pressure gage on it and see - think the head gasket is gone again??

aye sounds to me like the head wasnt skimmed when the headgasket was done , often forgotten and a bad move too , if the heads slightly warped the gases from the engine will overpressurize the cooling system and lead to the fault you have. its likely its blowing between a cylinder and a waterway.

Yes it always bad practice not to skim the head, as you have to do the job all over again. And its probably why it went in the first place
