1994 c class airbag problem

My drivers air bag, srs warning light has just came on. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Car is due for M.O.T. soon
Any information on this would be great.

how do you know it is the drivers air bag??????? if it is it is probably the clock spring contact

I know it's the drivers airbag because this car has no other airbag's came this way from new.

Might not be the airbag might be the seat belt tensioner which is connected to the air bag. When the air bag is deployed the seat belt is tensioned.
