Hi everyone,
Been searching for weeks to find a Owners manual for my 1994 C200 as the car didn't have one when I bought it. Tried eBay etc, but to no avail!! Anyone any suggestions where I could get my hands on one?

Also, have noticed in the last couple of weeks (especially at night as it's more visible) that the top left orange light (the one with the picture of an engine) has been flickering a bit, sometimes brighter than others. Any ideas as to what the problem could be? Performance-wise, the car is fine

Hi Ian,

Thanks for your post. I checked the engine oil and the level there is fine. Must be something else, but as I have no manual for the car, I don't even know what the light means!!

It is not an engine oil, it is level of water, I think

if its on the top left of ur dash and only flickers when going round corners etc. then yeah its water u may need in your radiator.

The orange light on the top left of the dash is an image of a radiator not an engine. If your radiator has the expansion tank on top then you may have an air lock around the level sensor unit, fill the radiator then squeeze the top hose a few times to expel air ,the coolant level should go down, repeat until the level stays constant and hopefully problem solved. This is a common problem with the cars where the expansion tank is on top of the radiator.

oops ............. Maybe I spoke too soon. i have a funny feeling it is the little sensor that is faulty. I did the filling the tank bit and squeezing the top pipe. The light now seems to glow even more!! Disconnected it and the light has gone out on the dash. Is it likely to be a faulty sensor perchance?

Could be I suppose, try taking out the sensor ,it just twists to undo; then fill the header tank and refit the sensor, if the light is still on I would say the sensor is faulty.

I'm rather proud of my MS Paint Picture and it helped Jonny too :)

If that was done in MS Paint, you deserve to be proud of it :) I can't even do lines with that..

Wouldn't have attempted it with PhotoShop :D

I'd have probably cheated & used a camera.
