1994 C280: Which System out of EGS 52, EAS or EGS does this car have?

Hello,

I had gone to an auto shop to use the OBD 2 code scanner and the scanner asked
this question.

Which System out of EGS 52, EAS or EGS does this car have?

Can anyone please tell me?

Its too early for EGS 52 which is only on the 722.6
Your car has a 722.5 fully mechanical and cannot be interogated with a computer.

Exactly. I didn't think OBD2 started to appear until 1998.

It does have a round diagnostic plug (don't know how many pins) under the hood and
also a rectangular OBD connector under the steering accessible
from inside the car.

As Alex said, neither. It's not an electronic gearbox. It's fully hydraulic.

None of the three. You cannot diagnose the gerabix as it has no computer.
