Hi all. My 12year old E class convertible has developed an electrical problem and the hood will neither go up nor down. Does anyone know of a knowledgeable mechanic who knows more than my local dealerships? So far on the odd ocasions I have let my precious car out of sight it has been retuned with more problems than it went in with! Today I brought it home having been told it will need 3 whole days of labour just to diagnose the problem! It now has warning lights on like Blackpool illuminations! I am in Stratford upon Avon and don't object to travelling in order to find the right person to care mechanically for my pride and joy. Cheers
