1995 C280 Sport electrical probs help please...

Hi peeps

First post here and sorry to be a negetive one lol

I have a 1995 c280 sport and i am getting a few probs my temp gauge works one min the it doesnt and i have no rear brake lights and yes cheaked the bulbs and all fuses fine

I know the c280 suffered eletric probs. Im really after some help on what to do next ?? and wondered if any others have had a similer prob??

when you say the temp guage works one minute then not the next, does it just stay 'stuck' at the pin ? if you tap the glass infront of it does it resume the correct setting ? if so you need to clean the pin by removing the instrument panel, search the forum for details of that

as regards your brake lights, you know you have fuses in the front and rear of the car ? (boot) have you checked them all ? have you verified that the brake light bulbs are ok and the correct wattage ?
