I have a 1995 C280, which has a AMG conversion, which includes a modified exhaust and a lowered sport's suspension. The car rides on 225 / 45 / 17 rubber, however have been for a while now battling to get the alignment spec's set right for this vehicle. The inside of the rear tyres are wearing at a higher rate than the rest of the tyres, and after 30 000 km, where the rest of the tyre has 2mm of tread, the inside is virtually smooth. I have tried many specialist alignment workshops, but they do mnot seem to have the correct specs. Looks like the rear camber needs adjustment - or is this just a characteristic of the suspension set up, and exagerated by the fact that it has 17" tyres?
