I have a friend with the same CL500 W140 as mine, he recently had a new alternator and then shortly after that a new battery.
Recently the ABs and ECP lights have come in intermitantly and they are no permanently on, the engine has a misfire somtimes and the car can stall as a result but a restart and the car can be fine again.
I havent seen the car yet or put the laptop on it to see what could be wrong but I think it it could be the electronic throttle failing. Does anyone else have any suggestions or has this happened to anyone else.
