Hi,
I need to read the diagnostics on my 95 s320 limo. I don't know if it is ODB1 or 2 or pwm etc.

My lambda is reading 1.07 (MOT Fail - booo) and I want to track down the fault.

I also know that the spark plug gap is wrong (any ideas? i think it's .8mm)

I have found some stuff on the net for building ODB scanners but they all seem to be for the newer ODBII interface which was introduced in 1996 (or so I am led to believe).

Does anyone know of a nice CHEAP way to read the diagnostics without going to a garage. Oh - and where is the diagnostics plug??

Cheers,

Krissyd

Sorry that I'm not able to help you, but on a similar note, does anyone know how you would find out which of these systems your car uses ie EOBD/OBD etc etc?
