My car has started to make a pulsed scuffing sound when I go round roundabouts it seems to be coming from the drivers side. Does anyone have an idea as to what it might be?

That's discs and pads on the way out I'd say.

A knackered bearing will give a deep low pitched hum when turning a corner.

Scuffing noise

Mudflap rubbing? Tyre tread separating? For this get it on a ramp to check & look at the inside tyre face very carefully. Wheel bearing needs nipping up?

Lot of possibles. If you can hear it it needs finding & fixing
