1996 c200 Elegance Suspension

Hi

I am thinking of adjusting the ride height of my 1996 c200 Elegance. Is it true the SPORT model has a lower ride height than the classic, elegance and the avente garde?

If so, do you think it would be possible to purchase a set of springs and shocks for the sport model and have them fitted to my elegance? Would there be any problems in doing this?

Hi,
It is true that the sport and the esprit models were lower than the elegance. I would be surprised if there was any more to it than switching the springs and dampers, but I don't know for certain.

No problem doing the job just change the springs. the shockers will be ok

Before spending lots of money on springs and shocks , if you just want to lower your car check the rubber at the top of the springs they come in different heights. they are only about a fiver each.

Will this work on my Eclass as well.It is very low.

elegance suspension

I have a C 250 TD Elegance and I found the raid too soft so I asked arround and finally install the original equipement for the Sport chasis but just de shocks and I am very happy with the results. The original schoks ab. are made by Sachs/Bogue, they toll mi to do so.
