hi i have a 1996 c200 with problems , i no that its obd1 but i need to find out how to connect my laptop to my car , will an obd2 interface and software with the right adaptor be able to read and reset the fault codes

if i try to accelerate hard it holds back a lot if i try to use the kick down at speed it will change down but the car will slow down due to the holding back but if i accelerate not to hard the engine will rev up to the red line

try cleaning the MAF sensor, search the forums for Parrot Of Doom's excellent howto.

cleaned the MAF sensor it didnt look dirty at all but cleaned it anyway what a Difference like a different car many thanks to you all
