1997 230CLK Sport - Console Lights

Hi

The left hand side of the console (ie the heating speed control side) appears to have a bulb that's blown (right hand side illuminates OK).

Could you provide instructions on how to replace the bulb, please? I've tried to pull off the switch, but the darn thing won't budge - it's smoothly contoured and slightly recessed so you can't get behind it!

if it won't pull off then you need to lever it off very carefully - we had to remove one of our W124 controls using a knife blade slipped into the gap between switch and surround.

use pliers with thick cloth in the teeth, then grip hard and pull untill your red in the face, then eventually it will come off and you will end up in the back seat...
