Hello,

I am a fairly new member and have owned my C230 (non-kompressor) for just over a yr and in that time has been trouble free. recently the lights have started to behave strangely. normally i just need to turn the light switch twice to the right to get a full beam. I now need to pull the headlight switch out to get a full beam. I also have the headlamp warning light appearing on my dashboard when i do this, and from the manual apparently this means a bulb has blown. I checked out all the lights and the passenger side foglight seemed weak so i replaced that, but still no change.

If anyone can shed some light on this problem I would be very grateful.

Many thanks

Frid

Are you 100% sure its not the bulbs, is yours the early one with dip/main on the outer lamp/ fog on the inner or later model with dip/fog on the outer lamp and main on the inner? easy to mix up which bulb is which when changing them.
