Gidday. My central locking is playing up and my key and locks are warn. The cars done 500k kms+. I'm trying to remove the locking mechanism from the doors. Is this possible without cutting the inner door skin? Also has anyone replaced the air based central locking with an after market electric actuator system? I've bought one for nz$70 (about us$50) but am unsure how to fit it. If I remove the entire air system is there traditional door lock rods to connect the new actuators to? Any advise please
