1/ Glow plugs replaced about 20K miles ago. In very cold temp engine starts lumpily & glow plug light comes on. However in milder conditions engine starts fine and glow plug light goes out immediately. Is this still indicative of having to replace the plugs?
2/ There is a rattle from the area of the poly-v belt -specifically there is a damper attached to the cylinder head and if I put a finger on the top of it & press the noise goes away. If this damper has to be replaced, how do you remove the lower support bolt. Have investigated it & whilst the nut can be removed there is insufficient clearence between the bolt head and the engine to remove the bolt?
