have 97 e320 petrol sedan V6 Motor, elegance - IDLING PROBLEM.

Have been everywhere in Bris (Aust) - noone can sort.....

Have changed:
12 Platimum Spark Plugs
Tested Leads
new fuel and air filteres
had auto service

Idles fine in Park, Drive (idle goes down to under 500), Reverse Idles worse, worse when hot,

Checked engine mounts
checked and repaired vac leaks
checked fault codes, came up with:
P0700 - Trans Control Syst Malfunction (fixed)
P0730 - Incorrect Gear Ratio
P0460 - Tank Level low (filled tank)
147 - Auto Slip ???????
151 - Yr Comp Target not obtained
BJ CAN COM?????????????????????

WHAT ELSE CAN I DO? Im a holden commodore specialist mechanic and a chick (merc dealers cannot tell me anymore than i know).
SUGGESTIONS ANYONE?:roll::roll::mad:

Throttle body?
If it idles ok in P then you can rule out ignition IMO. Being twin spark, that normally shows up most at idle. Are you saying is that it is not compensating when under load. How does it run once rolling?

Problem Fixed

After 3 times back to Merc themselves, scan tools, 19 workshops, auto elect's and supossed "Merc Guruies" - It was the.........Air Mass Sensor!!!
So much for Merc in bris saying Throttle Body @ $4100.00 (AU) Oh Yes not a typo....in the end after 3 diff merc dealers saying part was $700 genuine - I sourced from merc in indooropilly for $275.00.
So - check prices everywhere, don't be told one thing and expect them to know - No Body Know's everything. Ive been a mechanic for 16 yrs and never seen so much incorrect info being thrown around out there.
Cheers everyone and Merry Xmas - Deez
