1997 W140 noise in rear shock

Guys one of the rear shocks is making a eigh eigh noise the car had after market rims & tires changed them to factory rims & tires the noise was gone its back again not as bad as before but every little bump it makes a squeky noise any body know if its the acumalator or the whole strut it only has 110000 miles?

Maybe shock is dry. Hard to pinpoint unless you get it up on a hoist and manually move the suspension around (This wiil be hard) to detect source of noise.

Squirt some oil over the eyelet on the end. If the noise goes away for a bit, theres your problem.
