Can someone help me on how to access the boot on my C240 so I can charge/change the battery? Dead flat battery so no remote central locking at all and no boot lock key! Thanks (in hope)

Hi Malcolm. I only have the single central locking/ignition fob with the key lock shaft which slides down the side of the fob casing. I have no others keys.

Does that key that slides down the fob casing, does that not open the doors?? :|

Other guys on here know in more detail that specific car and boot opening procedures but normally you pull back seats forwards, and open the access panel on the inside of the boot to release the latch.

Unlock the drivers door with the metal key, then open the bonnet.

On the firewall more towards the passenger side you will see a black plastic cover, pull the cover off and you will see 2 terminals, join a battery charger up to the terminals observing the polarity, and the boot will open on the remote

Hello

More trouble. Got the battery full charged through the under bonnet terminals no problem but now the remote nor the interior switch will open the boot! Any ideas?

Do all the electric’s now work and dose the car start?
Any chance a fuse was blown?
