1998 E200 Avantegarde?

Hi,this is my 1st post on your site & I hope you guys can help.This is the thing,my dad is thinking about buying the above Merc & I'd like to know as much as I could about the car as I currentley have no idea what it looks like & what we should look out for regarding spec.,price.The only things I know about the car are that it is dark blue with auto gear box.What doe you guys think about the car?

Have a look at the used cars on the mercedes website under their signatire scheme. That should give you an idea of what they look like and the sort of specification you can expect...www.mercedes-benz.co.uk.

The Parkers Car Guide (not the price guide) provides a lot of info about costs, performance, equipment, etc and allows you to compare many different makes. It is available in your local WH Smiths reading library.

Found lots of info on our Mercedes,I say our,because the old fella's only gone & bought it .Must say it is a fine looking car but I think it may be a little underpowered.This will be our 1st Merc so i look forward to taking part in these forums
