I just bought a 99/500Sl sport. I am a long time Benz driver having owned a 190,E320,S430 and a 97 560sl. But I am most excited about this car.
My first question is in regards to the passenger airbag I undrstand that it will detect a passenger under 25 lbs? is this correct ? can I put my 50lb 7 year old in the passenger seat?
I also got a sport model can someone please give me some details as the difference between this and a regular 500sl.
How are they in the winter with snow tires? I live in the north east.
Lastly are there any spicific problems with this year and model I should be aware of before I pick it up from the dealer?
