1999 CLK Cabriolet, draught stop/Wind deflector

Just got back from dealership, tried to get a vertical draught stop to fit in space below rear seat squab, and clip on front edge of wind deflector. On previous visit to dealership, couple of years ago now, I was told I could get a unit to fit my clk. Now I am told, it is available, but only for the later face lifted models. Does anybody know if I can still get the unit for the original CLK, and where from?

Hi, i think you mean the horizontal draft stop, not vertical.
i think what you want is part number A208 860 0174 £247.43 + vat
the common vertical one is A208 860 0074 £159.97 + vat
go back to your dealer, tell him to look at group 92 page 160 items 20 and 23

Thank you, the A208 860 0174 part is the one I need, I have the other one. There was a mix up at the dealership, about the car model. They do not appear to be able to tell me though if I can fit it myself, or whether it needs fitting at the dealership. Any ideas? Ta
