Being new to the brand, would appreciate advice and views on faults? I may encounter, or that may develop, prior to buying this vehicle with full history & 79k on clock.

Assuming you are based in Twickenham, you could do a lot worse than getting it looked at by a local MB independent specialist in Richmond.

Thanks Spike & teky. Colin was very helpful. In the end, I declined the car because it didn't have the build quality I remembered of my old boss's 500 SEC. That's what I'm looking for now - any thoughts?
