New Registration
My 2.3-16 seems to have probs, the car has very low millage due to it sitting in a lock up for 7 years. I have been running the car for about a year and have had it fully serviced, i have had the air filter, oil filter, fuel filter, plugs, leads, distributor cap and all oils changed, a new gear box fitted and an OVP relay although it wasnt new.
The problems i am experiencing are:
1.Cold start, which i have checked by measuring the fuel to the injectors but this seems ok, the vehicle has been to Sanspeed engineering and they believed the car just needed to be used more and that the problem should clear however this is not the case.
2. Engine problem, the engine seems to be holding back. Cold, warm anytime. Have been told this could be down to a vaccum problem? would anyone know the best place to take the car and have it tested?
3.ASD light and ABS light come on could this be down to an OVP?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
