2.3 16v A/C Dehydrator bottle

can anyone please describe where the air con dehydrator container is ? i have a drawn diagram of one in the haynes manual but it fails to mention where its located !

yes you have guessed it the air con doesnt blow refridgerated air.

where do i start in the process of figuring out why?

Hi Bob

I guess you are looking for the reciever dryer, it is normally just behind the head light on the nearside but if you let us know which model you have , and is it MB air con or a retro fit possibly diavia.

As for a/c not working 99% of the time its due to no gas (leak) some times it takes a couple of minutes but if it is a very small leak you will need to have UV dye put in with regas and then have it inspected with UV light later

Hi

As Piestore has mentioned, the system has more than likely lost its refrigerant. It need to be looked at or checked by a AC specialist whether at stealership or bespoke AC tech. There is not a fat lot you can do out side the system.
