2.3 16v poor running

Hi there, just bought 190 2.3 16v with a running fault. Starts fine but when you try to rev up there is a very bad flat spot. When you rev up slowly car is fine even driveable but anything over half throttle and it just bogs down.
New distributor cap, rotor, H.T. leads and plugs. New injectors, second hand fuel distributor (may still be faulty) Engine has been stripped and rebuilt when crank gear slipped still running the same. HELP PLEASE:-x

Have you tried the mixture adjust under the sealed plug.

Hi malcolm, tried the mixture adjust screw doesn't seem to do anything. Only thing i've noticed when the hesitation/flatspot happens the fuel distibutor flap vibrates badly untill you rev passed then plenty of power afterwards.
