2.5 16v 190E ASD LIGHT - ASD Light

Help from anyone please. Driving the other day and my ASD light came on. I know that this is the Anti Slip Diff light, but it did not appear to affect the driving, and there were no mechanical noises etc.. Should I be thinking of getting this fixed, any ideas as to what may cause this problem and how do I go about fixing it ? Any help would be greatfully received. Adam

Clean all connectors I had the same problem whit my 190E 2,6 that fix my problem

Thanks for your answer, but being a complete novice at this I have no idea where the connectors are. Where are the connectors that you cleaned ?

in the fuse box is a silver relay, replace that and the problem will more than likely go away

panic not its only £15 from the dealer
