2.5 16V - Lowering

I am looking at buying a 2.5 16v after driving a friends BUT i would like it lowered about 40mm and fitted with AMG 17s any advice ??? i have looked at a car for sale today 114000 mls and in very good condition with fsh

my short answer is do'nt.MB in their infinite wisdom spent a large amount of money designing the suspension for the w124/w201series and to be honest did a ****** good job.All the 2.3/2.516v's ive driven with altered suspension were never as sweet to drive as the standard factory cars.
