229.51 is the stuff suitable for most Mercedes diesels. The petrols' tend to specify 229.5.

Petrols can also use 229.51 and there may be some benefit to doing so as it has an enhanced detergent package.

229.52 is , only improving on economy a bit more.

I've 2 paid services on the e350 to receive still. I bought this mainly for my Ford kuga. Cant see why it won't be any better or worse than the mb lube cube.
