Hi,

I'm investigating retro-fitting a nokia phone into my 2000 clk 320 which has command 2.0 factory fitted with the CD changer in the boot but no phone currently. The problem I'm have is determining what wiring is pre-fitted and therefore, what I need.

Initial investigations make me think there is little wiring currently present.

The kit I'm looking at is this one :-

http://www.audiocomp.biz/shop/en/index.html

Looks like a good deal and the suppliers seem to suggest that the kit is complete but I'm not convinced.

Has anoyone any experience with such kits?

The best instructions I've found are here :-
http://phdwebsite.powerpulse.cc/Phone Install Bulletins/CLK 00.pdf

Looking at the base of the center console with the carper removed I don't see anywhere to plug in the RJ45 plug that most installation guides talk about. Not sure if this socket is included in the kit or if the kit includes it.

Also. .
How can I tell if a microphone is already installed?
If not, can anyone tell me what to do about it?

Do I need to worry about an antenna or will the antenna in the phone be sufficient?
Do I need to visit a service center to activate the phone?

Many thanks in advance. . . .
