2000 SLK Headlight Control Illumination

Newbie here.

Just got a stonking 2000 SLK230 but out tonight for the first time in the dark the headlight controls are not illuminated. Should they be? Is this an easy fix or something for the main dealer?

The headlamp switch does not light up sadly. you will soon get used to it.

Many thanks. Seems strange that, but hey - everything else about the car is fantastic.

Strange how MB decided to cut expense and not illuminate the LIGHT switch on certain models, especially when you consider the excellent (and sometimes not needed) interior lighting in the rest of the vehicle.

But as Malcolm says, you will soon get used to it.
