Hi All
I am hoping someone may know the cause of this noise.
My 2000 E320 AWD sedan with 70,000 miles exhibits a slightly annoying vibration/humming noise at approxamately 40 MPH (USA version) when cold. The "problem" disappears when fully warmed up.
It is not very loud nor is the vibration significant, but they are noticible.
I am concerned with preventing a major problem, if this is a symptom of one developing.
I did have the tires balanced and rotated. No significant difference was noticed.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Ron Y
