2001 C180 many problems - help

I purchased a C180. I have had numerous problems, i.e.
ESP Visit Workshop
Tail light L Substitute On
Tail light L Check lamp
Tail light R Substitute On
Tail light R Check lamp
3rd stop Lamp.

The problems with the bulbs never appears to be sorted out.
It cuts out about every 3/4 months. Anyone else had this problem.
It had a total electronic failure.
Ignition switch had to be replaced.
Keys had to be replaced
Etc
eTc
any advice. Anyone else out there with similiar problems?

Hi Conor

The 203 launch was probably the worst MB have ever had and yes all your problems are typical. rear bulbs blowing, there is now a wiring mod, same aplies to bas/esp light (wiring mod) and yes lots of trouble with keys and ignition switches but if all these have been replaced with the modified parts they should now be sorted it also sounds as though you also need a rear sam ( ref light faults) good luck and enjoy it.

Still in Trouble with C180

C180 is still causing trouble. 3 errors appearing daily. The MB dealer is not doing much about it.
Is there any documenation about these problems?
Has anyone taken a case due to unresolved problems going on and on and on and on............
