2001 CL500 Extremely loud bang, followed by a dump of oil.ABC?

Was stuck in traffic today after a short drive when I heard what sounded like a shot gun, looked in the rear view mirror and I had dumped quiet a bit oil on the road, immediately followed by smoke (exhaust burning it off) followed by a red ABC display, limped home a mile or so, suspension still up but the ABC reservoir is empty. Seems to have happened above the plastic sump guard near the drivers side.
Any ideas guys of what has let go??

That’s the position of one of the valve blocks and accumulator. So could be pipe or accumulator.

Pipes can be made up by any hydraulic place. Pirtek etc.

Accumulators are about £150?

Valve blocks can be rebuilt- a Viton o ring set is about £80ish? or you can Contact someone like Welwyn Mercs who could do it for you.
