2001 E55 front brake calipers - Wrong caliper on E55

had the front wheels off my 2001 E55 this weekend and noticed that the calipers were two piston floating type. Am I missing something or what? The 2001, 2002 MB sales brochure as well as the MB web site indicates that the calipers are four piston. Incidently there are pictures of the caliper in the brochure and they certainly don't show four piston calipers. Anybody have any thoughts on this issue.

This is from the AMG brochure 01.12.2000 -

Its not uncommon for promotional literature to be wrong. Thats why so much of it carries a disclaimer.
The promo pics of the C32 showed its vented front discs with 5 drilled holes; all the production vehicles have 4.

As long as it stops well enough, all you can do is wonder at the sales incompetence, or complain.

Brabus can uprate the brakes to 4 caliper if you really really want them.
