Hi people,
Dont know if you can assist.
My S 320 CDI has an intermittent "shudder" when engaging drive or reverse. Sometimes it also "shunts" as though there is backlash in the diff / drive train.
Mercedes have checked and said they cant find anything and all bushes etc are ok.
Now I know I'm not imagining it! :lol:
Last night when reversing into a parking space there was a noise as though something was jammed and then snapped! (Like seized brakes sound when driving off).
Strange thing is. When the car is moving gear change etc is fine. It's only on take off this happens!
Any idea's I can go back to mercedes with? :idea:
I am going to have gearbox level checked tomorrow just in case
