2002 CL dash repair?

Picked up an 02 215 this afternoon, only a couple of things to be done , one is the odometer reading is all fuzzy , what are my options on this folks ??

Ok thanks, i have never been sure , i may take the binnacle out after ive done a gearbox oil change and see what the back looks like ??

For 150 quid, I think I'd leave it fuzzy - unless it really bothers you

I think the cl has a similar speedo to the s-class W220. If so I found on mine that there is a ribbon cable connecting the display to the main pcb. The connector connecting the two had quite a bit of corrosion. It was a while back but I think i used a tiny screw driver to clean the contacts up on the connector. I should add that my display was flickering rather than fuzzy so may be a different fault.

same as that . i have only half of oat on my w208 and the speedo needle jerks in movement at times . for £50 i would ,for over £100 i just live with it on a 19 yr old car ,in great overall nic but prob only worth 1k so no point as i see it .
