Hi All
Im new on here ive just bought a w208 clk convertible .
im trying to get the rear headrests to go down and no joy
i can hear the motors running ,ive took the rear seats out tried resetting the headrests but no good
the button that operates the headrests the light stays on,
when you operate the headrests you can push them so far down and then they just shoot back up
im guessing that i need to get the headrests to stop down before i can see if the roof works .
if someone can help would be much appreciated,
Cheers Alan

Hello and welcome

The headrest release is air /vacuum so I’d check all the valves / pipework

Hi I've managed to get the headrests to stop down ,
But now cant hear the motor for the roof now
As soon as I use the button for the headrests they go straight back up to max without stopping

Thanks for the quick reply guys
I've tried checking for leaks
And the reservoir is full
I'm stumped
When I got the other half to press the button for the headrests I could push them down but they would not go down on their own and I could hear the motor running
They stopped down once
But now they won't

Hi All
I gone round the pipes cant find any issues
But for reason there is resistance in the roof as I'm trying to open it manually .
I've turned the screw on the motor so it relaxes the pressure but no joy as it still wont open
