Hi. Would the above-mentioned car have the "Sensotronic" Brake System?

Should it be avoided?

Yes - great IL6 engine - pants electrics and SBC also pants

Although if cheaper than chips might be worth a punt - itchy feet again?

I think it would have sbc.
Quite possibly been replaced at that age, though dependant on mileage and style of driving, town or motorway miles I guess. The unit can be read with star for the amount of use used, remaining.

You have had that nice Clk for a few weeks now, done all the servicing and cleaning so suppose it is time for it to go

To be honest I think I'm gonna keep this one - just keeping an eye out for a bargain to see if there is a possible quick flip when things get better....

The E has 159,000 miles and looks mint-ish.... His other car is a 2019 Range Rover. I have a feeling he's a quack. Had it 4 years and done a lot of work in that time going by the history.

Why not indeed, once given a good going over by yourself it should rise in value. Then get another !!!
It will save you toying with the idea of changing yours so often.

Our SL has SBC, find it really handy in stop start traffic, or at the lights, stop signs, actually I find any extras handy, like wheel brace, jack...................
