Hi all,
My first post here, but since my Vito Van is now out of warranty i think i might well become a regular :mrgreen:
I have 2 problems with my 2002 118 Vito Van;
1) I can seem to reset the service indicator - i followed the procedure in the handbook, but it does not seem to work ! does anyone have instructions from a different source ? or maybe im just not doing it right !
2) The instrumentation has gone very strange ! I have the following symptoms :-
The speedo registers much lower speed than is true, for example at idle the needle is in the same position as when the engine is off, and at 50mph the needle shows around 20-30mph
The rev counter needle shows much lower than it should, for example max revs shown is 2000 and idle speed is below the minimum.
The illumination of the digital display is really, really, dim so its really hard to see the mileage and service info etc.
I looked in the handbook for the fuse list and fuses 9 and 10 in the steering column would seem to relate to the dash but both look ok.
Any ideas ?
