Hi,

Have a 2003 C-Class coupe. I notice that when going around right hand bends/roundabouts at reasonable speeds there is a rumbling/rattle type sound from what I feel is the front passenger side.

I have bounced the car up and down on the shocks and can't reproduce it, also it doesn't happen at lower speeds!!

Any ideas?

Thanks
Andy

Difficult to diagnose sounds accurately from here, but it sounds like you may have the start of a wheel bearing problem.

Hi have had this before and it was the handbrake cable had come out of its clips and was rubbing on the propshaft. You need to get it up in the air and remove the rear exhaust heatshield near were the centre of the propshaft is held on by 8mm nuts. You should see some blue clips that hold the cable in place.
