There is an interesting post by stumo on deleting the MAF function on these. Might save you a dollar or two if you try it.

Sorry for the delays on replying been super busy at work and limited internet use ... to date I've got the auto gearbox service ... shocking to see it was it probably it 1st service ... then done the engine service and that was even worse .. all filters were black as black can be even found a pink duster in the air box ... found the egr valve rubber pipe has been cut and a bolted insert in the bore of said cut pipe ... also no hot air threw the heater ... still in limp mode so booking her in for a star diag ..

Glad to see you are taking care of someone elses (presumabaley) poor maintenance!
