Hello,

I've replaced a multi-switch (turn signals, wipers, etc.) and faded LCD in the instrument cluster according to reliable instructions. However, the car is not starting anymore, it looks like some security system blocked ignition switch, I cannot turn the key. I tried to disconnect the battery and wait; it didn't solve the problem. Can it be reactivated with some professional scanner or another tool? Any other ways to undead the car?

Thanks in advance,
Igor

Do you hear the ignition lock motor run when you insert the key, if not that's where to start.

No, the car doesn't allow the key turning and doesn't react to it when I try to open/close doors remotely. Tried both keys with the same result.

Maybe you’ve slightly dislodged loom to the ignition switch?

I will check this as well. I'm curious if I messed up wit SAS, could it disable the car? Does it need to be recalibrated after being removed? (It's the only way to replace the combination switch).
