Hi There,
As a first time Mercedes owner I am looking for answers to the following few questions about my 2003 CLK 200 Kompresssor.
1) A red battery error is coming up on the dash. I've been told that the regulator on the alternator is broken and this is resulting in the battery being overcharged. I've had to top up the battery which I think supports this theory. Anyway my question is do I have to get a new alternator or can just the regulator be replaced?
2) A light sensor error is also coming up on the dash. When the lights are on Auto they come on all the time. Is this sensor likely to be completely broken? Is it an expensive part to fix?
3) Is the above light sensor a sensor for the wipers also?
4) I didn't get a manual with my car, where can I get a cheap one? Is there somewhere I can download it?
Thanks a million for your help.
Regards,
Newbie
