Hi all.

I'm in the process of finishing off the mini restoration of my car.

I noticed that the Bonnet Emblem is looking a little tired and wanted to get a like for like replacement.

I've looked at the fixing and its a push in two prong type, however having looked online I'm a little confused as to which is suitable?

Are all of the flat type emblems 57mm diameter, are their better quality ones to look for, plastic or metal?

Any help would be gratefully received.

Also my car has light silver paint, does anybody know which silver it is? - I think it maybe Brilliant Silver?

Sorry if I sound a bit thick, but I'm still finding my way!;)

Many thanks.

Mike.

pump your vin into MB teile katalog for the info and extras

get the emblem from merc - go to the parts desk, and ask them nicely to fit it, its a special tool they need which is one turn only, you can DIY with a pair of pliers but be warned, turn it too far or wrong and its broke and you need another, a good dealer will fot it free its a 5 s job with the workshop tool.
